A jewellery house ought to feel like a room, not a counter.

A tea is poured. A tray is brought. A craftsman comes down the hall to change a single prong if you ask him to. The light is good. There is time. This is the older way of buying jewellery — and the way we have kept open in Kozhikode, in Kochi, in Kannur, in Mangalore, in Dubai. Come in.

“I wanted a house where jewellery would carry a woman’s individuality — drawn from our heritage, open to the world. Not a counter. A place she returns to for a lifetime.”

Meralda opened on Mavoor Road, Kozhikode in 2019. In the six years since, it has grown into a house of premium jewellery — gold, diamonds, platinum, and gems — with boutiques in Kochi, Kannur, Mangalore, and Dubai, and a craft that still begins with a sketch and a hand.

A Meralda piece is held in the hand before it is wrapped. There is a chair, a tea, a tray, and a goldsmith down the hall if you want to change a single prong. Four promises stay with every piece you take home.

Bring back any piece, any year. We weigh, value at the day’s rate, and credit the full amount against a new commission. No deduction for wear.

Custom by hand

Bring a sketch, a stone, a grandmother’s necklace. Our atelier will draw three options in 72 hours and finish the commission in 4 to 6 weeks.
